Returns & Cancellations
Dowsett Family Winery stands behind every wine we produce, sell and ship. We want you to be completely satisfied with your choice. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of arrival and we will arrange for a replacement (if available) or refund.
If you suspect a bottle has been damaged in shipping or flawed by cork failure, please put the cork back leaving the remaining wine in the bottle. Contact us about returning the opened wine and, at our discretion, we will offer a replacement or a refund.
Once your return is received and inspected by our staff, we will process your refund and apply a credit to your original form of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
Customers are responsible for return shipping charges and proper labeling and packaging. We are unable to accept the return of wine that was damaged during return shipping.
Cancelling an Order
You may cancel an order at any time before your order ships. Once the order is processed (when you receive the tracking number by email) the wine becomes your property. You may cancel an order by contacting us by phone or email.

Credit Card Authorizations
When you place an order, Dowsett Wines obtains a pre-authorization on your card for the amount of the order, essentially putting the money on hold until your order is processed. Your credit card is not actually charged until your order is shipped.
